Arriving and Departing from Mt Shasta

Everyone is responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Mt Shasta, and to any and all organized Divine Joy Events. The Divine Joy Team will not be available for airport, or Train/Bus station pick ups, but we can assist you with pick up/drop off arrangements and organizing carpooling with other participants, etc.

Below is a list of all the routes and options for arranging your arrival and departure.

Flight Options

OPTION ONE:
Fly into the San Francisco, CA airport. Mt Shasta is about five hours North from SF via car.
Rent car in San Francisco and drive to Mt Shasta, or
Take a Greyhound bus to Mt Shasta (likely a 12 hour bus ride), or
Take an Amtrak train from San Francisco to Dunsmuir, it is about a 12 minute drive to Mt Shasta from Dunsmuir. (the train usually arrives in the wee small hours of the morning) You will need to arrange being picked up there and brought to Mt Shasta.

OPTION TWO:
Fly into the San Francisco, CA airport, and take a United shuttle flight into the Redding, CA airport, which is one hour from Mt Shasta.
Rent car in Redding or
Take the Greyhound bus from Redding to Mt Shasta.

OPTION THREE:
Fly into Sacramento, CA, about 3 hours drive North to Mt Shasta. Rent car and drive to MT Shasta, or
Take Greyhound bus to Mt Shasta from Sacramento

OPTION FOUR:
Fly into Portland Oregon, and take a shuttle flight to Medford,Oregon airport, Medford is about 1 1/2 hours North of Mt Shasta.
Rent a car and drive down to Mt. Shasta,or
take a Greyhound bus from Medford to Mt Shasta
